Our non-toxic, biodegradable septic tank odour remover accelerates the natural process of bacteria consuming organic matter to get rid of odours in a few minutes. It offers rapid deodorising results.

No harsh chemicals, no strong perfumes, no staining, safe to skin and the environment.

Our septic tank/long drop cleaner does not mask the odour but uses natural power to completely destroy it. The product contains no biocides or poisons and is completely safe for the environment.

 

How does it work?

Our septic tank cleaner supplies large amounts of oxygen to the existing bacteria and turns it "hyper-aerobic. When this occurs the good bacteria "aerobic" instantly consumes the waste and pathogens while eliminating odours instantly. It will even break down toilet paper in just 6 hours.

During this process, the product is consumed naturally leaves no residues. It is completely harmless to the environment

The product turbocharges the bacteria by supplying large amounts of chemically bound oxygen which activates the bacteria to such a level it consumes the organic matter very quickly and removes the odours instantly. (typically hydrogen sulphide gas)

It can be used for:

  • Ideal for composting toilets.
  • portable toilets.
  • farm runoff.
  • grease traps.
  • sewerage transport vehicles.
  • animal waste holding tanks.

Anywhere where organic matter is decomposing without oxygen and producing an odour (typically hydrogen sulphide gas)

 

It will also assist with unblocking clogged soak areas/fields and considerably increase the time between emptying the septic tank by substantially reducing the amount of organic matter (solids)

Directions: 

Add 400 MLS into 3 litres of water and pour down the toilet or sink. Do this weekly or as required. If the odour is powerful, apply the product twice a week to begin and then use it as needed.

 

 Why do the tanks smell? 

 The sludge is anaerobically consumed (with no oxygen) by bacteria which is very inefficient at reducing the solid mass and produces hydrogen sulphide gas. This is the pong we usually associate with a septic tank.  To make matters worse, the build-up of waste matter can discharge directly into the soak area, providing a real headache. Our product will not only increase the breakdown of solid wastes to avoid them going into the soak field but will also clear any existing contaminations in the soak field without harming the environment.

We use NZ Post Track and Trace. for all domestic Shipping New Zealand wide . We will dispatch your order within 2-3 working days. and if we are unable to dispatch your order within three business days we will contact you and advise you of the expected dispatch date.
Orders placed before 11 AM - NZ Time will be dispatched the same day, otherwise, within the next business day.

Our warehouse operates on Monday - Friday during standard business hours, except on national holidays at which time the warehouse will be closed. In these instances, we take steps to ensure shipment delays will be kept to a minimum.

Change Of Delivery Address

For a change of delivery address request, we are able to change the address at any time before the order has been dispatched. We cannot accept responsibility for your parcel once delivery has been made.  

All Courier orders are sent with ‘Track & Trace’. We will send you a dispatch email with your tracking number at the time your order is sent.  Once your item is shipped you can expect delivery within 3-4 working days.  If your order is taking longer than expected, please contact us with your order number immediately by email: sales@cleansmart.co.nz

Damaged Goods

If the item is damaged during transit, please let us know via email with photo proof and we will either replace it (if a replacement is available) or issue a refund. Please note this is case by case.

Once your order has been shipped you are not able to cancel your order. No returns.



Return Policies

Cleansmart Return and Refund Policy

At Cleansmart, we offer a 30-day return policy. You have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.

Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return, your item must be in its original condition—unused, with labels intact, and in the original packaging. You will also need to provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, please contact us at sales@cleansmart.co.nz. If your return is approved, we will provide you with the return address. Please ensure that your package is securely wrapped and properly sealed.

Once received, we will inspect the condition of any returned product before processing a refund or exchange. Please note that we may deny a refund or exchange based on this assessment.

Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We strongly recommend using registered post for returns, as Cleansmart is not liable for any items that are damaged or lost during the return process. 

 Once we evaluate the condition of the returned products, we will notify you via email if your refund has been approved. Please allow up to seven days for the refund to be processed. The refund will be issued using the same payment method you used for your original purchase.

Damages and Issues

Please note that we do not accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

To get the item you want as quickly as possible, we recommend returning the original item first. Once your return is accepted, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed automatically to your original payment method. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

It worked eventually

Had to apply it multiple times but it did work. Took a few hours to do a 4 sets of curtains but I am pleased with the outcome.
