Four steps to stain-proof fabric
protectME uses German nanotechnology to bond an invisible coating to each fibre as it cures.
Check your fabric
Shake well and spray a hidden test patch first for colourfastness. Not every textile is colourfast, and water-based protectME isn't for "dry clean only" fabrics.
Spray an even coat 80–100 ml/m²
Hold the nozzle about 15 cm away and work back and forth until the fabric is evenly moist. Thick or absorbent textiles take a second coat.
Let it cure 12–24 hrs
Leave it a minimum of 12 hours — up to 24 in temperatures below 18 °C. The coating bonds to the fibre as it dries.
Test the beading
Flick a little water onto the surface. Small beads should form and sit on top. If it soaks in anywhere, add another light coat.

Questions before you spray
Is it safe for kids and pets?
Yes. protectME is water-based and contains no harsh or hazardous ingredients. Once it has fully cured it is safe to use around children and animals.
Will it change the colour or feel of my fabric?
It shouldn't — the coating is invisible and breathable, so fabric keeps looking and feeling the same. Always spray a hidden test patch first, as not all textiles are colourfast. Because it's water-based, we don't recommend it on "dry clean only" fabrics.
How long does the protection last?
Up to three years on upholstery that isn't washed. On washable items it holds for around 30 washes. Re-apply after a professional deep clean.
What can I use it on?
Cotton, linen, wool, silk, suede, leather and synthetics — sofas, dining chairs, carpet, curtains, outdoor cushions, footwear and bags. Suitable for use inside and outside the home, and commercially.
How much do I need?
Between 80 and 100 ml per square metre, depending on how absorbent the surface is. A 2L pack covers up to about 20 m². Thick textiles may need a second coat.
How soon can we use the furniture again?
Once it's fully cured — a minimum of 12 hours, and up to 24 hours in temperatures below 18 °C.
