This stain guard is more efficient than traditional chemical waterproof sprays and much safer for your family, kids, and pets. Plus, it’s also environmentally friendly and won’t hurt the planet. Using the latest nanotechnology from Germany, made in Australia, and is an invisible and breathable coating that repels and protects from liquids, dirt and stains whilst still allowing items to look, feel and smell natural.

Our protector spray repels all liquids and spills, making them bead and roll off the fabric. These include water, oils, other liquids, dirt and stains, reducing food sources for bacterial and fungal growth. Just use a cloth to wipe the liquid away.

Why is it safer than traditional protector sprays? Traditional fabric protectors contain toxic chemicals and release fumes during and (long) after application. protectME’s nanotechnology formulation is silicon dioxide (SiO2) and water based, nonflammable, odourless and is suitable for allergy sufferers. It’s safe to use around humans and pets and is environmentally friendly.

How Long does the protectME spray last for

Normally the spray will last for 2 to 3 years if it is sprayed correctly

How much do I need?

We recommend using between 80-100ml per m2, depending on the absorbency of the surface. For thicker textiles, a second coat may be required.

Does it have an expiry date

Unopened bottles will last 2 years in +3 to 30 degree temperatures

CHECK YOUR FABRIC

Shake well and apply to a small test area for colour fastness. Not all textiles are colourfast

SPRAY AWAY

Spray an even layer from 15cm in a back & forth motion so that textile becomes moist

WAIT FOR IT

Allow a minimum of 12 hours for the coating to cure in temperatures below 18°C allow up to 24 hours

TEST FOR COVERAGE

By spraying a little water on the textile. Small beads should form on the surface, if not, an additional application may be required

What is protectME made of ?

Our eco friendly fabric protector is PFAS free. It is made with pure silicon dioxide (SiO2), an inert substance that surrounds us in nature as sand or quartz; the most abundant family of materials on Earth.

Silicone dioxide (SiO2) is a natural substance that is already in use in many products around us, like glass, concrete, cosmetics, food and even the water we drink. protectME does not create silica dust, the silicone dioxide in protectME is amorphous, which means it does not crystallise. For this reason, it is not a health concern.

The recent advancements in nanotechnology have allowed to alter silicon dioxide into its nanoparticle form (meaning each particle size is as small as 1 billionth of a metre), creating such a thin, malleable layer that it could be used as an effective protection barrier on different surfaces.

Non-toxic fabric protectors like protectME have been shown to surpass mainstream protector sprays in every way.

Life saver

Having had an entire house worth of carpet replaced due to cats and dogs being lazy sh*ts, it was hugely depressing to find fresh stains, and the smell, ergh, we contemplated 'removing' the causes permanately. But this stuff worked wonders, and removed the smell and stain, plus the area isn't a litter box anymore.
