Don’t breathe in

This is amazingly affective. I recently moved into a new rental and I swear that the glass shower doors had never been cleaned. They were so cloudy that I couldn’t see into the shower. They are now transparent again.

BUT, this stuff is toxic to breathe. Exit Mould doesn’t have a patch on it. I had to take a deep breath down the hallway, run in, spray for 45 seconds, and run back down the hallway. I wore a surgical mask. I had the extractor fan on. I had the window open. But it was impossible to take even one breath in there while I was spraying.

It works though. It really works!

Thanks Elizabeth for your review. I agree the Lime scent is quite strong and we are trying to get our manufacturer to reduce this. Hopefully this shouldnt be to far away. It does work a treat as I use it around the showers every night and it keeps the glass lovely and soap free

So far so good

Worked very well on some showers that have been left in teen cleaning hands for too long. I did leave overnight and then wiped off and showers are sparkling again. I was also impressed with its ability to lift lime scale when nothing else has worked. I will be continuing to use regularly.

Great product

Product worked very well, just a wee note with soap grime being rather thick, I had to scrub with a hard brush to remove thick soap residue before washing it off ....but I am sure spraying regularly will not need scrubbing in future.

Inside the shower was spotless with the wall clean, all silverwear sparkling, and a nice clean aroma resulted.
And importantly the floor was not slippery at all.

Strong smell not a great result

Unfortunately this product wasn’t good for the tiles in my shower. Sprayed on and left five minutes as too strong a smell to leave on overnight in our en-suite. Left shower tiles with streaky marks. Has taken me a lot of scrubbing to get these streaks off. Also there are no ingredients listed in the bottle so you have no idea what chemical reaction might happen. Disappointed as I love other products from this site.

When used as directed for cleaning your shower, it's suitable for homes on rural septic systems. As with any cleaning product, we recommend using it in normal amounts and rinsing as instructed rather than pouring concentrated product directly down drains. Does the shower cleaner make the shower tiled floor slippery? I am in my nineties and worried the treatment might make it slippery.

Hi Mollie, thanks for your question — safety is a great thing to check on. Our Professional Strength Shower Cleaner is designed to be sprayed on and then thoroughly rinsed off with water, best done overnight, so it doesn't leave behind a coating or film once you've rinsed the surface. As long as the tiled floor is well rinsed with clean water after treatment, it shouldn't make the floor slippery. In fact, one of our customers specifically mentioned in their review that the floor "was not slippery at all" after using it. As an extra precaution given your concern, we'd suggest giving the floor a good final rinse and letting it dry fully before stepping in. Is it safe for septic tanks?

Septic Tank is safe as it is non bleach based and no Quat BC (benzalkonium chloride) as they would kill bacteria. Shower cleaner is just a couple of squirts of spray, so not a lot of product. As long as people don't put a whole bottle in and are following the directions. I hope this helps
